Actual insert is three packs of
three cells and one pack of two cells. Have you considered a Ni-MH
conversion? This can be accomplished using a PAG analyzer.
As shown
below, PAG ACS analyzers supply excellent charge and maintenance to Your
units and do not require communication with the internal temperature sensors
of AB batteries. Click to enlarge.

Nickel Cadmium battery cells are environmentally
unfriendly. Thanks to
International Environmental Concerns and the good laws of other countries,
our battery cell manufacturers have already started to phase nickel cadmium from their
manufacturing lines. Panasonic did so three years ago. Being an
Environmentally Conscious Company, and Now having our own line of broadcast
battery packs, Rathbone Energy is now phasing nickel cadmium
out as well and expects to be finished by 2010, no longer supporting the rebuild
of Anton Bauer products. Being the only Battery Assembler Worldwide that
supports rebuilding battery packs, we understand that this will create a
hardship on those invested in Anton Bauer nickel cadmium but offer a great
alternative.
Before you have Rathbone rebuild your
battery belt consider what in 2008, we have encountered in parts
accessibility, plus the nickel cadmium issue. As these battery belts
wear with age, parts need to be replaced. In 2008 we were no
longer able to find many important replacement parts for several brand if
not all of these old battery belts rendering the new rebuild useless to the
client. Even though we would like to have the profit, if we
rebuild the pack with fresh, high end battery cells and the packs are
performing at peak, peak is sometimes too much for the worn out parts
and relays. We strongly encourage a new look at our lithium ion
technology.
We Do NOT use third world or brand name low end "economical",
"high capacity" or consumer grade battery cells. We are using the very best
nickel cadmium battery cells available, (exceeding industry
standards) and High-Tech Plastic Welders.

the Sanyo KR5000DEL cell or the Sanyo N4000DRL D cell, (both at

Each battery stack is individually
insulated by paper tubes for improved durability against hard bumps
and elevated temperatures.
The integrity of the pack is achieved by
glue (which is injected between each stack) and reinforced tape.
Stacks are interconnected with nickel plated weld tabs for extra
low resistance. When a complete belt insert is ordered, six stacks
are prepared for quick and easy installation into existing
belt carcasses.

The specification charts point out the
cells utilized for extended life and reliability. These belt
inserts were designed to be a very durable and long lasting battery
pack. We can also custom build any pack to your specifications with
several other available cells. For additional information or
